Job summary

Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd. in India seeks a Production Engineer (Process Equipment Division - PED) to plan, coordinate, and execute fabrication of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns and reactors, ensuring quality compliance and on-time delivery under ASME codes and customer specs.

You will supervise welding, fit-up, machining, assembly, hydro testing, PWHT and final inspection; align with Planning, Design, QA/QC, Stores, Procurement and Dispatch to keep production on schedule; prepare

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering with relevant certification.
• Experience in heavy fabrication for process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day production activities in the Process Equipment Division.
• Execute fabrication activities for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Coke Drums, and other process equipment.
• Supervise welding, fit-up, machining, assembly, hydro testing, PWHT, and final inspection activities.
• Ensure fabrication is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, WPS, QAP, ITP, and customer specification.
• Coordinate with Planning, Design, QA/QC, Stores, Procurement, and Dispatch teams to meet production schedule.
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to achieve delivery target.
• Prepare daily production reports, productivity reports, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, welding consumables, and raw material.
• Drive productivity improvements, cost optimization, and Lean/5S initiative.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on the shop floor.

Job Summary
