Job summary

Globtech Metalcraft Ambad is seeking a results-driven Production Manager with 5–10 years of manufacturing experience. You will plan daily, weekly and monthly production targets, manage manpower and shift planning, and drive shop-floor discipline to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.

You will monitor OEE, machine utilisation, downtime and productivity, coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Dispatch, and identify bottlenecks to implement Kaizen and productivity

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production required.
• 5–10 years of experience in production management.
• Knowledge of 5S, safety standards and shop-floor discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan and achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
• Ensure production as per quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Manage manpower, shift planning and operator productivity.
• Monitor OEE, machine utilisation, downtime and production efficiency.
• Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Dispatch.
• Reduce rejection, rework, scrap, downtime and production losses.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, process parameters, 5S and safety standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement Kaizen / productivity improvement initiatives.
• Develop supervisors and operators through training and multi-skilling.
• Conduct daily production reviews and ensure timely closure of action points.
• Maintain proper production records and KPI reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost and shop-floor discipline.
