Job summary

DIGYUG in India seeks a production supervisor to oversee daily glass production and shift operations. You will monitor furnace, forming, and production processes to ensure targets and quality are met.

You will coordinate with QA and Maintenance, troubleshoot issues, manage manpower, and enforce SOPs, safety, 5S and Kaizen. You will maintain logs and MIS and drive cost-saving improvements while ensuring safe, continuous production.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily glass production & shift operations.
• Monitor furnace, forming & production processes.
• Achieve production targets, quality & productivity.
• Monitor process parameters & machine performance.
• Handle manpower allocation & shift planning.
• Coordinate with Quality & Maintenance teams.
• Troubleshoot process and machine-related issues.
• Monitor rejection, wastage, yield & downtime.
• Ensure SOP, safety, 5S & Kaizen compliance.
• Maintain production reports, logbooks & MIS.
• Support preventive maintenance & shutdown activities.
• Implement process improvement and cost reduction.
• Monitor raw material consumption & production efficiency.
• Conduct RCA for production losses and defects.
• Ensure smooth and safe continuous production operations.
