Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a BE Mechanical/Production engineer with 3-7 years in manufacturing to manage production issues and drive TPM-based improvements on the shop floor.

You will monitor MQW, MQS & MAPS guidelines, perform quality audits, and ensure compliance with QMS, 5S and 7 QC tools as part of continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• B.E Mechanical / Production from an engineering discipline.
• 3-7 years of general experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with TPM, quality systems, and production problem solving.
• Knowledge of ISO TS 9001:2008 quality standard will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with vehicle parts, automation, and QC methods such as Poka-Yoke.

Responsibilities

• Monitor set targets on a day-to-day basis by managing priorities and actions.
• Ensure adherence to the production schedule and timely actions for concerns.
• Conduct process audits and closure of NCs to sustain quality.
• Maintain QMS, WSS, 5S standards; follow ILU matrix guidelines.
• Shop floor management and timely disposal of non-conforming products.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• Daily Work Management- Monitor the set targets on a day to day basis effectively by managing priorities.
• Monitor BWT’s performance w.r.t. PQCDSM and seek out better ways of improving BWT performance
• Ensure timely actions for internal/external customer concerns and sustenance of the same.
• Adherence to production schedule
• Adherence to training plan as per ILU matrix and improve/upgrade skill level
• Conduct various process audits and closure of NC’s
• Understand MQW , MQS & MAPS and demonstrate execution of their guidelines.
• Responsible for adhering to Quality Management systems, WSS, 5S, IPMS & QDMS
• Maintain QMS, prepare SOS, WSS documents & 5S standards.
• Identify scope for continual improvemet in WSS, JH & 5S along with maintaining safety at work.
• Maintain OLE records and restore minor stoppages & breakdowns quickly by ICA/PCA to minimize recurrence
• Shop Floor Management
• Timely disposal of non confirming products & scrap
