Electrotherm (India) Ltd. in Ahmedabad is seeking a Production Engineer – Mechanical to join our manufacturing team. You will manage day-to-day production activities, ensure adherence to schedules, maintain quality, and optimize processes to achieve efficiency.

The role requires 1–6 years' experience and a BE/B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. You will coordinate with design, quality, planning and maintenance teams and uphold safety and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–6 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in mechanical manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or industrial equipment production will be preferred.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shop-floor operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of production monitoring, quality standards, and process improvement techniques.
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and MS Office will be an added advantage.
• Good coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to ensure timely execution of production targets.
• Supervise shop-floor operations and ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with design, quality, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Identify production bottlenecks, process deviations, and operational challenges, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper execution of fabrication, machining, assembly, and other mechanical manufacturing activities, as applicable.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with stores and planning teams to avoid production delays.
• Maintain production records, daily reports, process documentation, and relevant operational data.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, 5S practices, and shop-floor discipline.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce rejection, and minimize manufacturing costs.
