Job summary

Loopwork is hiring for a technical operations role focused on data migration and onboarding for Shopify-based merchants. You will own the migration infrastructure, ensure data accuracy, and support clients through onboarding while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

The role requires 4–5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Shopify experience is a major advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the data migration infrastructure to transfer merchants’ subscription data with accuracy and no data loss.
• Provide technical onboarding support to clients and address issues promptly.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, migration processes and troubleshooting.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to minimise post-onboarding escalations.
• Apply Shopify knowledge to implement custom merchant requirements.

About the Role

Experience: 4–5 years

Responsibilities

Data Migration

• Own the migration infrastructure used to transfer merchants’ subscription data from their previous platforms to Loop, ensuring accuracy and preventing data loss

Technical Support

• Provide technical support to clients throughout the onboarding process and promptly address any issues or concerns

Documentation

• Create and maintain documentation covering common configurations, data-migration processes, and frequently encountered troubleshooting scenarios

Quality Assurance

• Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance to minimise escalations and issues after merchants are onboarded

Shopify Expertise

• Use your Shopify knowledge to help merchants implement custom requirements according to their expectations

Ideal Profile

• 4–5 years of experience in technical operations or a related role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with e-commerce platforms—particularly Shopify—is a significant advantage
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently when required
