Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Bengaluru seeks a Vice President – Product Owner to shape the product vision for digital lending platforms.

You will partner with business and technology leaders to identify AI-driven opportunities, design automation solutions, and drive end-to-end booking lifecycle improvements across credit, underwriting, closing, funding and servicing. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 12 years’ experience including minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area, for commercial lending or experience in a Back office/Financial industry
• Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
• Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
• Candidates with knowledge of loan systems like Loan IQ, ACBS
• Knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence
• Experience writing technical stories using industry-standard tools and notations (e.g., Jira/Confluence)

Responsibilities

• Own and refine the backlog (epics/features/stories) aligned to priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Track success metrics across cost, functionality, risk posture, and reliability to drive decisions.
• Drive simplification/modernization of commercial lending servicing with engineering partners.
• Deliver scalable capabilities across the lending lifecycle (credit, underwriting, closing, funding and servicing).
• Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and traceable—avoiding one-off solutions.
• Align business, ops, tech, and controls on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and decisions; communicate changes clearly.
• Ensure operational readiness and adherence to risk/control and quality standards.
• Lead QA/UAT and support go-live, hypercare, and continuous improvement using feedback and outcomes.
• Identify productivity/efficiency/control improvements via redesign, digitization, and automation and use personas/UX inputs to keep decisions user-centric.
