Job summary

JPMorganChase in Bengaluru seeks an Associate – Product Owner to drive AI-enabled automation across the digital booking lifecycle. You will partner with business and technology leaders to define roadmaps, gather requirements, and deliver intelligent automation solutions that improve accuracy and reduce manual touchpoints.

You will lead product discovery, align with governance, and ensure on-time releases while building KPI dashboards for executive decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering digital transformation in financial services.

As an Associate – Product Owner in the Digital & Platform Services team, you will play a key role in leveraging AI and intelligent automation to streamline the end-to-end booking lifecycle—reducing manual touchpoints, accelerating accuracy, and driving business performance. You will collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify AI-driven opportunities, design smart automation solutions, and deliver results that matter to our firm and clients. Job Responsibilities

• Set product vision/strategy and shape the roadmap through discovery (interviews, process deep-dives, data/controls analysis).
• Independently own key digital enhancements and features as required to deliver product vision, multi-year strategy, and roadmap. Ability to gather business requirements, break them into system requirements, define fine grained solution and independently work with technology to build and deploy the solution as per business requirements.
• Shape and scale responsible automation (rule-based, ML, generative AI, and agentic solutions), including operating design for agents, human-in-the-loop review, exceptions, and integrations.
• Apply Agile-at-scale practices to improve throughput and predictability; remove impediments and manage trade-offs across competing priorities.
• Ensure quality and readiness through test management and automation, production verification, and post-release monitoring; drive continuous improvement via root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to Release Management - Prepare for release windows, validate readiness, support deployment, Post Release Validation and monitor post go live.
• Partner with business stakeholders and controls to define target-state operating model and drive change management and end-user adoption: stakeholder mapping, comms/training plans, enablement materials, feedback loops, and adoption measurement.
• Contribute to program governance (operating model, decision forums, intake/prioritization, dependency management, risk/issue management, and execution reporting).
• Lead QA/UAT and support go-live, and continuous improvement using feedback and outcomes.
• Help Establish data insights for leadership: define KPI frameworks/OKRs, build executive-level dashboards, translate metrics into narrative, and drive decisions with evidence.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field
• Demonstrated experience in delivering digital transformation in financial services
• Working knowledge of APIs, workflow platforms, data, analytics, automation, generative AI or agentic patterns, human-in-the-loop designs and production monitoring (deep coding expertise not required).
• Good understanding of wholesale lending processes, digital technologies, and risk/controls considerations in regulated environments.
• Expertise across the product lifecycle: discovery → delivery → launch → adoption → optimization.
• Strong data literacy: KPI/OKR design, dashboarding, insight generation, and executive storytelling to influence decisions.
• Experience in program governance for establishing visibility and transparency to leadership.
• Strong change management capability to drive adoption and measure behavior change/outcomes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Agile tooling (e.g., Jira/Confluence or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Demonstrated experience in delivering digital transformation in financial services (wholesale lending preferred).
• Candidates with knowledge of loan systems like Loan IQ, ACBS will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated experience applying AI and automation to transform operational workflows
• Knowledge of lending products, and end-to-end loan lifecycle processes
• Solid understanding of project management and business analysis techniques
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—able to translate between business and technology audiences with clarity
