Job summary

Power Tech Consulting Pty Ltd. is seeking a Product Owner to lead hands-on product ownership for Nexus AI products. You will convert customer needs into a prioritized backlog and align with customers, the Managing Director, and the engineering team.

You will spend time with customers and engineers, ensure what we ship makes a difference, and measure outcomes using product metrics, with a focus on backlog clarity, user stories, and sprint execution.

Qualifications

• 15+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager on software products, ideally SaaS.
• Hands-on customer discovery experience, including interviews and observation, and turning what you learn into backlog decisions.
• Experience writing user stories with testable acceptance criteria and running sprint planning and reviews in an Agile or Scrum team.
• Experienced defining and tracking product metrics and using data to decide what to build next.
• The judgement to prioritise competing requests, and to explain the trade-offs clearly to the Managing Director and engineers.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence working with customers in Australia across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog and roadmap for one or more Nexus products.

Power Tech Nexus is the productcompany of the Power Tech group. We build and run our own AI-driven softwareproducts for businesses in Australia and the region. We are a small teamgrowing deliberately, so every hire shapes how the product and the engineeringpractice turn out.

Education
