Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, leading BA work on ERP, data, or transformation projects.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management across time zones.
• Proven process mapping skills using BPMN or similar notation and clear requirements writing.
• Experience on ERP, data, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience in both Agile and traditional delivery, using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience leading, reviewing, or mentoring other business analysts.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis on client engagements, from discovery through to delivered and adopted change.
• Run stakeholder workshops and interviews, turning input into clear, prioritized requirements.
• Map current- and future-state processes, identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Write requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for consultants and engineers.
• Own traceability from requirements through design, build, and test; support UAT planning and execution.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and developers to shape fit-for-need solutions.
• Produce process documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support change adoption.
• Lead, review, and mentor analysts; set BA standards, templates, and ways of working.
• Support pre-sales including discovery, scoping, and estimating.

Lead Business Analyst

Power Tech Nexus is the productcompany of the Power Tech group. We build and run our own AI-driven softwareproducts for businesses in Australia and the region. We are a small teamgrowing deliberately, so every hire shapes how the product and the engineeringpractice turn out.

Our client work across ERPimplementation, data and AI, and business transformation depends onunderstanding the need properly before anything is built. As Lead BusinessAnalyst, you'll lead that work on our engagements for clients across Australiaand the region, working remotely with their teams from India. You'll stayhands-on in workshops and requirements, while guiding our other analysts andsetting the standards they work to.

KeyResponsibilities

• Leadbusiness analysis on client engagements, from discovery and current-stateanalysis through to delivered and adopted change.
• Runstakeholder workshops and interviews with client teams, and turn what you hearinto clear, prioritised requirements.
• Mapcurrent- and future-state business processes, identifying gaps, risks, andimprovement opportunities.
• Writerequirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that consultants andengineers can build and test against.
• Owntraceability from requirements through design, build, and test, and support UATplanning and execution.
• Workwith architects, consultants, and developers to shape solutions that meet theneed without unnecessary complexity.
• Produceprocess documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materialthat help clients adopt the change.
• Lead,review, and mentor our business analysts, and set our BA standards, templates,and ways of working.
• Supportpre-sales, including discovery, scoping, and estimating.

Must-HaveSkills and Experience

• 10+ years inbusiness analysis, including leading the BA work on at least two full projectsfrom discovery to go-live.
• Strongworkshop facilitation and stakeholder management, including with senior clientstakeholders, working remotely across time zones.
• Provenprocess mapping skills, using BPMN or a similar notation, and clearrequirements writing.
• Experienceon ERP, data, ordigital transformation projects.
• Experiencein both Agile and traditional delivery, using tools such as Jira andConfluence.
• Experienceleading, reviewing, or mentoring other business analysts.
• Excellentwritten and spoken English.

DesirableSkills

• Experienceon ERP implementations such as Odoo, SAP, or Dynamics 365.
• Experiencedefining requirements for reporting and data projects, such as Power BIdashboards, or for AI solutions.
• Arecognised business analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA.
• Consultingexperience with Australian clients, ideally in mining, financial services, orgovernment.
• Experienceusing AI tools such as Claude in day-to-day analysis work.

Education

A bachelor's degree in business,information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalentexperience.
