• Hands-on testing across web, mobile, or API with strong manual skills.

Responsibilities

Security, Compliance and Group IT Administrator

As Software Tester, you'll work with our developers, business analysts,and QA team to test what we build, from reviewing requirements beforedevelopment starts to supporting clients through user acceptance testing.You'll work remotely from India with a team spread across India and Australia,reporting to our QA Manager.

KeyResponsibilities

• Reviewrequirements and user stories early, and help make acceptance criteria clearand testable before development starts.
• Writeand maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Runfunctional, integration, and regression testing across web, mobile, and API.
• Carryout exploratory testing to find the issues that scripted tests miss.
• TestAPIs using tools such as Postman, and validate data using SQL.
• Logdefects clearly in Jira, retest fixes, and track them through to closure.
• Contributeto our automated regression suites alongside our QA engineers.
• Supportclients and business users through user acceptance testing.
• Reporttest progress, risks, and quality status clearly to the QA Manager.
• Workwith developers and analysts across India and Australia, with dependableoverlap with Australian business hours.

Must-HaveSkills and Experience

• 3–5years of hands-on software testing, including web applications and ideallymobile or API.
• Strongmanual testing skills, including test design techniques, writing test cases,and regression testing.
• Experiencemanaging defects in Jira or a similar tool, with clear reports that developerscan act on without follow-up questions.
• Hands-onAPI testing experience with Postman or a similar tool.
• WorkingSQL skills for checking and validating data.
• Experiencetesting in Agile or Scrum teams.
• Excellentwritten and spoken English, and confidence working remotely across time zones.

DesirableSkills

• AnISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.
• Experiencewith test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Experiencetesting ERP, Power Platform, or data and reporting solutions, such as Odoo orPower BI.
• Experiencewith performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Experiencetesting AI features, where outputs can vary between runs.

Education

A bachelor's degree in computerscience, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalentexperience.
