Job summary

Aptiv in Bengaluru is seeking a senior embedded software leader with 14+ years experience to drive product roadmaps, elicit and document requirements, and manage automotive programs from concept to production.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams across time zones, ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE, define timelines and budgets, and maintain backlogs, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

• Must possess the mandatory responsibilities listed above in the mandatory 14+ years experience and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• 14+ years experience in embedded SW development and managing embedded programs
• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and technical requirements
• Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, etc.) and regulations
• Understanding of quality assurance processes
• Define and maintain product backlogs
• Good product management in Automotive domain
• Experience in concept-to-production development process
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal skills with effective communication and presentation ability
• Defining timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for automotive projects
• Identifying and mitigating risks in product development
• Working effectively with international teams, often across time zones and cultures
• Strong interpersonal skills for understanding and managing team dynamics
• Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in the automotive sector
• Experience in configuration management
