Job summary

Aptiv Bengaluru is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer with 6–8 years of embedded software experience in Autosar and BCM. The role focuses on hands-on development for automotive systems, including device drivers, CAN/LIN/FlexRay networking, and security aspects in vehicle connectivity.

You will collaborate in a cross-cultural team and engage in testing with measurement tools and simulators. Exposure to ISO 26262 and ASPICE processes is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hands-on embedded C development for 16/32-bit micros in automotive enviroments.
• Experience with Autosar methodologies and workflows is required.
• Knowledge of power modes, UDS, diagnostics and bootloaders.
• Familiarity with CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet and related tools.
• Experience with verification tools and measurement equipment.
• Understanding of multi-core, multi-domain automotive systems.

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Required Technical Skills

• Hands on Experience in embedded SW development using C for 16/32-bit micros - Infineon, NXP, etc
• Hands on experience in cross compilers, debuggers/emulators
• Hands on experience in device driver development
• Hands on experience in Autosar methodologies and workflows
• Hands on experience in Power Mode, UDS, Diagnostics, Bootloader, communication protocols - CAN/LIN/Flexray/Ethernet & tools for the same like CANalyzer, CANoe etc
• Experience in Verification tools- Static analysis tools, Unit Testing tools
• Hands on experience in handling measurement tools like Oscilloscope, Current probe, Signal generators etc
• Hands on experience in multi core and multi domain systems
• Experience in different security aspects of Vehicle Connectivity
• Exposure to Automotive standard processes-CMM/ASPICE Functional safety ISO 26262 overview

Soft Skills

• Good Communication Skills
• Good Team player and motivated to work in cross cultural environment

Optional Skills

• Working Experience in Gateway product will be an added advantage
• Working Experience in BCM will be an added advantage
• Working Experience in PEPS/PAKM will be an added advantage
