IN1 Finastra Software Solutions (India) Private Limited is seeking a Product Owner for Core Banking applications. This role focuses on backlog ownership and executing sprint-level deliveries effectively. As a Product Owner for Core Banking applications, you are an independent contributor responsible for backlog ownership and sprint‑level delivery execution. You work closely with Product Managers, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure that product features are delivered efficiently and aligned to business priorities.
At this level, the focus is on:
Product Backlog Ownership (Core BP2 Expectation)
Own and manage the product backlog for assigned modules/features.
Prioritize backlog items based on business value and guidance from Product Management.
Ensure backlog items are refined, estimated, and sprint‑ready.
Maintain backlog transparency with stakeholders.
Requirement Analysis & Story Definition
Analyse requirements and translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications.
Gather and document functional, system, and data requirements.
Decompose high‑level requirements into detailed, actionable backlog items.
Agile Execution Responsibility
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
Provide ongoing clarification to development teams.
Ensure sprint deliverables meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as a key interface between development teams and stakeholders.
Work with Product Managers (for prioritization guidance), Implementation consultants, Customer‑facing teams.
Support demos and feedback sessions with stakeholders.
Quality & Release Support
Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria.
Support testing/QA activities, defect triage, release readiness.
Ensure delivered features align with expected business outcomes.
