Job summary

M H London is seeking an Executive Product Designer to join our team, focusing on innovative furniture and decor, with emphasis on flat-pack/assembly-based pieces. You will lead projects independently, or support senior designers, applying solid knowledge of furniture construction, materials, manufacturing and cost considerations.

You will create 3D models, renders, CAD drawings, moodboards, and design documentation while coordinating with factories and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

We are looking for an Executive Product Design to join our team. The role involves developing innovative and commercially viable furniture and decor products, with a major focus on flat pack/assembly-based furniture.

The candidate should be able to handle projects independently as well as assist senior designers, with strong practical knowledge of furniture construction, materials, manufacturing, and assembly. They should be creative, efficient, technically strong, and able to communicate design ideas clearly.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market, customer, competitor, and trend research.
• Develop original and innovative furniture & decor concepts.
• Independently handle assigned projects from research and ideation to sampling and refinement.
• Create 3D models, realistic renders, and detailed technical CAD drawings.
• Develop practical designs considering flat-pack construction, assembly, materials, manufacturing, and cost.
• Review samples and provide feedback on design, quality, functionality, and construction.
• Coordinate with factories and cross-functional teams for product development.
• Create presentations, moodboards, and design documentation.
• Stay updated with design trends, materials, software, and AI tools.
