Job description

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Concept Designer to develop innovative product concepts and design solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of aesthetics, materials, and market trends to create compelling and functional designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and visualize innovative product concepts from ideation to execution.
• Create sketches, line drawings and 2D/3D models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate with the engineering, VM and marketing teams to ensure feasibility and market alignment.
• Conduct trend research, material exploration, and competitor analysis to drive design strategy.
• Ensure designs align with brand identity, user needs, and technical requirements.
• Present concepts and design rationales to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Work closely with factory and suppliers/vendors for prototyping and production feasibility.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, or similar.
• Strong sketching, visualization, and 2D modelling skills.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and market trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience of working on Wood Furniture.
• Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Have very strong knowledge of Auto CAD 2d & 3D
• Good math skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines
