Job summary

Flam is an AI-native platform company hiring a product designer to own end-to-end design for a templated, self-serve creation surface. You will design the template system and multi-tenant workspaces used by brands and agencies, balancing usability for marketers with control for power users.

We seek 2–5 years of platform design experience and strong prototyping skills. You will collaborate with engineers to realize feasible solutions, and contribute to a scalable design system across products.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in product design, with platform design experience.
• Experience with creation or authoring tools, editors, no-code builders, CMS, IDEs, or creative software.
• Fluency with hard interaction problems: hierarchies, multi-state objects, progressive disclosure.
• Prototyping ability—high-fidelity prototypes with real logic, or code.
• Strong reasoning and ability to argue a design decision over visual appeal.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for a complex creation surface—from IA through interaction detail to shipped polish.
• Design the underlying template and configuration systems to span many brands and use cases.
• Design for multiple personas and permissions across multi-tenant workspaces.
• Build and maintain the design system beneath it all—components and states.

We're hiring a product designer to work on our creation platform — the templated, self-serve product brands and agencies use to build interactive ad creative themselves, without code. This is platform work: templates others build on, multi-tenant workspaces, many kinds of users doing real work. If you've designed platforms, editors, or authoring environments, you know the difference — these are products where users spend hours, build real artefacts, and feel every friction point. That's the work.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end design for a complex creation surface — from information architecture through interaction detail to shipped polish
• Design the template and configuration systems underneath it — patterns that flex across many brands and use cases from one model
• Design for a wide skill range: a brand marketer who wants a result in five minutes, and an agency power user who wants full control
• Design for multiple personas and permissions across multi-tenant workspaces — without the product feeling heavier for anyone
• Build and maintain the design system beneath it all — components, states, edge cases
• Partner closely with engineering on what's feasible, and push on what should be

What we're looking for

• 2–5 years in product design, with platform design experience — you've designed a platform, not one-off screens: multi-tenant, role-based, built on reusable templates and primitives that scale across many customers
• Meaningful time on creation or authoring tools (design tools, editors, no-code builders, CMS, IDEs, creative software — anything where users produce output)
• Fluency with genuinely hard interaction problems: hierarchies, multi-state objects, progressive disclosure
• Prototyping ability — high-fidelity prototypes with real logic, or code
• Strong reasoning. We care more about how you argue a decision than how the final frame looks
