Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in Pune, India seeks aMechanical Design Engineer to support CAD design activities for sustaining engineering, NPD, cost reduction, and DFMA-focused improvements. You will develop practical mechanical designs from concepts and maintain layouts using analytical methods.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Mechatronics, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks/Solid Edge), GD&T knowledge, and experience with engineering calculations and tolerance analyses.

• Familiarity with DFMA principles and product cost optimization initiatives.
• Experience participating in engineering change management processes.
