Job summary

Emerson Electric Company India Pvt Ltd is seeking a CAD Automation Engineer to develop an automated tool for generating general arrangement drawings and integrate it into our proprietary application. You will liaise with Design Engineers and Product Managers to resolve automation queries.

You will join the Pressure Management Team, balancing independent work with collaboration to ensure timely order execution and seamless data flow across engineering, ERP, and PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Autodesk Products/ NX CAD.
• Experience with VB.Net, C, C++ or Python.
• Knowledge in Inventor iLogic.
• Experience with PLM Software preferably Teamcenter.
• Experience in ERP Software. (SAP/Oracle Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates the customer order cycle from order to cash, owning relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Work closely with Inside sales and Order Entry to receive clean POs to place to factories.
• Expedites intercompany factories and suppliers to meet delivery deadlines.
• Proactively identifies issues and addresses with the correct personnel.
• Ensures factories receive the right documents and produce order acknowledgements.
• Planning/Coordination/Submission of MRB/ITP to keep the order on track.
• Support the commercial aspects of the order including timely documentation and invoicing.
• Checks payment terms and sets up bank submission documents (LC/CAD/PBG/ABG) for orders.
• Coordinates with Logistics and Warehouse to ensure shipments meet INCO- terms and aims for 100% OTD.
• Manages resolution of dispute cases and warranty claims.
• Prioritizes deliveries in response to changing customer schedules.
• Develops contingency plans with suppliers to limit delays and missed dates.

CAD Automation Engineer Job Summary

We are thrilled to offer an outstanding opportunity at Emerson for a talented CAD Automation Engineer! We are seeking a candidate to join our dynamic Pressure Management Team. This role involves both independent work and collaborative effort within a team setting, primarily focused on developing an automated tool for generating general agreement drawings, incorporating them into our proprietary application. Additionally, you will play a vital role in liaising with Design Engineers and Product Managers to resolve any queries regarding the automation of product drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates the customer order cycle from order to cash (data entry, shipments, delivery, invoicing), owning the relationship with both the customer and the suppliers / factories, in accordance with department procedures
• Work Closely with the Inside sales team/ Order Entry team to receive Clean PO to place to the factories.
• Expedites intercompany factories and suppliers to ensure that delivery deadlines are met.
• Proactively identifies any issues and address with the correct personnel
• Ensures that the factories have received the right documents and produced the related order acknowledgements
• Planning/Coordination/Submission of documents/MRB/ITP to ensure the order is on track
• Support the commercial aspects of the Order including timely documentation and invoice submission
• Checks payment terms thoroughly and actions set up of bank submission documents i.e LC/CAD/PBG/ABG for MRO orders/Small Project orders
• Coordinates with the Logistics and Warehouse team to ensure that shipments are delivered as per the INCO- terms Always Ensures highest customer satisfaction keeping customers updated on order status understanding prompt responses are key - aims for 100% OTD through RDSL/PDSL Works closely with the Finance team to minimize Logged issues/GIT / Outstanding payment issues and LD’s
• Manages resolution of dispute cases/warranty claims
• Prioritizes deliveries in response to changing customer schedules and expectations
• Develops contingency plans with suppliers to limit or eliminate negative effects of delayed promised delivery dates
• Works collaboratively with the team as necessary and focuses on meeting monthly/yearly POR targets
