Responsibilities

• Strategic procurement: develop and implement procurement strategies for renewable energy projects focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Vendor management and negotiation: identify, evaluate, negotiate, develop and maintain supplier relationships for long-term partnerships.
• Team leadership: lead and motivate a team of procurement professionals, define KRAs & KPIs.
• Stakeholder collaboration: work with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize procurement processes.
• Cost saving: deliver cost savings through negotiations and new vendors development without compromising quality and safety.
• Quality and safety: ensure adherence to defined processes to meet quality standards and safety practices.
• Ethics and compliance: ensure procurement complies with legal and organizational guidelines.
• Market analysis: research price trends and new technologies in solar procurement.

Educational Qualification

• Any Bachelor's & Master Degree

Experience

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in procurement of engineering goods & services, preferably from the renewable energy, manufacturing or Telecom industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor development.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes & best practices
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software.
• Knowledge of engineering equipment, industry standards, and technical services
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience in team handling

Key Deliverables

• Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies for renewable energy projects, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality.
