Job summary

Rays Power Experts in Jaipur, India, invites an experienced Procurement & Strategic Sourcing professional to manage procurement for solar EPC projects and corporate needs.

You will lead supplier selection, negotiate terms, develop cost-reduction strategies, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance across quality and safety standards. The role requires strong vendor management and ERP proficiency to coordinate with engineering, logistics, and finance for project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for solar EPC projects and corporate requirements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost reduction and supply continuity.
• Source and evaluate vendors for solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, SCADA, and other EPC materials.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, compare quotations, and conduct techno-commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contracts with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Conduct vendor assessment, qualification, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure supplier compliance with company quality, safety, and delivery standards.
• Build alternative supplier networks to reduce procurement risks.
• Finalize purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in line with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial terms.
• Monitor procurement budgets and support project cost control.
• Coordinate with finance for payment processing and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with engineering, project execution, logistics, and stores teams for material planning.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Resolve procurement-related issues affecting project schedules.
• Track procurement schedules and maintain MIS reports.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability.
