Job summary

Concentrix is seeking a Procurement Manager in Mumbai to lead end-to-end purchasing, RFQ/RFP, and supplier management within SAP MM. You will ensure timely PO processing, track deliveries, and partner with planning, operations, and finance.

Bring 5–10 years in procurement, strong negotiation and Excel reporting skills, and a bachelor's degree in a related field. This role offers exposure to shared services and IT procurement in a dynamic BPO environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities from requisition to PO issuance.
• Convert approved PRs into POs.
• Review procurement requirements for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure timely PO placement and follow-up.
• Track supplier deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
• Create and manage RFQs in SAP MM.
• Identify and invite qualified suppliers.
• Analyze quotations and conduct bid evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and contracts.
• Create, modify, and release POs in SAP MM.
• Monitor PO acknowledgments and delivery commitments.
• Support supplier onboarding and evaluation.
• Provide procurement reports, spend analysis, and KPI tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities from requisition to purchase order issuance.
• Convert approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO).
• Review procurement requirements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Ensure timely placement and follow-up of purchase orders to meet business requirements.
• Track supplier deliveries and proactively resolve supply-related issues.

RFQ Management

• Create and manage Request for Quotations (RFQs) in SAP MM.
• Identify and invite qualified suppliers for quotation submissions.
• Analyze supplier quotations and prepare comparative bid evaluations.
• Support supplier negotiations on pricing, lead times, payment terms, and contractual conditions.
• Recommend suppliers based on quality, cost, service levels, and compliance requirements.

Purchase Order Management

• Create, modify, and release Purchase Orders in SAP MM.
• Process PO amendments, cancellations, and change orders.
• Monitor PO acknowledgments and delivery commitments.
• Resolve PO discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and approval matrices.

Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews focusing on quality, delivery, and cost.
• Coordinate with strategic sourcing teams for supplier onboarding and evaluation.
• Escalate supplier risks and support mitigation plans.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Support

• Partner with Planning, Operations, Finance, and Receiving teams.
• Support invoice discrepancy resolution and three-way match issues.
• Provide procurement reports, spend analysis, and KPI tracking.
• Participate in continuous improvement and procurement transformation initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong Procurement and Purchasing experience.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP MM.
• Experience in RFQ, RFP, Bid Evaluation, and PO Processing.
• Supplier negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Understanding of contract terms, pricing, and procurement policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
• Experience in shared services, BPO, manufacturing, IT procurement, or indirect procurement environments.
• Exposure to supplier performance management and spend analysis.
