This role partners with plant and maintenance teams, drives supplier development, negotiates contracts, and ensures steady supply of spares and materials while delivering cost savings through ERP/SAP.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of procurement experience in glass, packaging, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with CAPEX and MRO categories.
• Strong knowledge of engineering spares, refractories, utilities, and service contracts.
• Proven track record in vendor consolidation and cost benchmarking.
• Experience with import/export processes.

Procurement Manager (CAPEX, OPEX Engineering Spares & Raw Material.)

Key Requirements

• Manage procurement activities for CAPEX projects, engineering spares, MRO items, fuel, utilities, and service contracts across manufacturing locations.
• Work closely with plant, engineering, maintenance, and project teams to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement support.
• Source and develop reliable suppliers, OEMs, distributors, and service partners to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.
• Negotiate prices, commercial terms, contracts, and annual rate agreements to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supplier performance to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Drive vendor consolidation and strategic sourcing initiatives to improve procurement effectiveness and reduce overall spend.
• Ensure availability of critical spares, consumables, and engineering materials to support uninterrupted plant operations.
• Manage procurement of technical categories such as refractories, electricals, instrumentation, steel, utilities, and maintenance-related items.
• Coordinate import purchases, supplier development, logistics, and trade compliance activities when required.
• Ensure all procurement activities are carried out in line with company policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
• Utilize ERP/SAP systems for procurement transactions, reporting, and process management.
• Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and savings trackers for management review.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support business objectives.
