Job summary

Licomat is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement activities from PR to PO and to source direct/indirect materials, spares, chemicals, and services. The role requires SAP MM experience, strong vendor development skills, and cross-functional collaboration with production, maintenance, and finance teams.

You will ensure uninterrupted material availability, optimize inventories, and drive cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering) or MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management.
• 6–10 years of procurement experience in Manufacturing, Chemical, Metals, Battery, Engineering, Automotive, or Process Industries.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MM/ERP systems.
• Strong exposure to strategic sourcing, vendor development, contract management, and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities from PR to PO.
• Source direct/indirect materials, engineering spares, chemicals, consumables, CAPEX items, and services.
• Develop and onboard new suppliers; strengthen relationships with existing vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and annual rate contracts.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Projects, Stores, Finance, and Quality teams for timely procurement.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability while optimizing inventory and procurement costs.
• Prepare comparative statements, commercial evaluations, and purchase recommendations.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery, quality, and compliance.
• Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and alternate vendor development initiatives.
• Maintain procurement records, MIS reports, and procurement KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Candidate willing to relocate to Vemagal, Kolar, Karnataka. Maximum Budget for this position is 12 Lac per annum.
