Job summary

Ssmatrix Consultancy in India is seeking an experienced procurement leader to oversee sourcing activities across project-based engineering and equipment manufacturing. Qualifications

• 1015 years of relevant experience in procurement and sourcing within project-based engineering or equipment manufacturing industries.
• Hands-on experience in sourcing electrical and mechanical components, equipment, and bought-out items from domestic and international vendors.
• Strong knowledge of global sourcing, import procedures, shipping documentation, freight coordination, and customs clearance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and manage a procurement team of 8 or more members.
• Expertise in supplier negotiations, vendor development, cost reduction, and strategic sourcing.
• Experience in managing procurement activities in line with project requirements, budgets, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and overseas suppliers.
• Sound understanding of purchase order management, procurement planning, and supplier delivery performance.
• Experience in the industrial automation sector or automation equipment manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
