Job summary

Search Advisers Services Guj is seeking a seasoned procurement leader in Bengaluru to direct electrical, electronic, semiconductor, PCB/PCBA, and electromechanical component sourcing. You will manage high-value spends, RFQs/RFPs, supplier selections, and contract negotiations, while driving cost reductions and strategic supplier development.

You will collaborate with R&D/Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to enable New Product Introduction and localization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1522 years of experience in direct procurement/strategic sourcing, with substantial exposure to Electrical & Electronic components.
• Strong sourcing expertise in electrical/electronic components, semiconductors, PCB/PCBA, power electronics, or electromechanical assemblies.
• Proven experience managing large procurement spends and complex supplier portfolios.
• Strong expertise in cost reduction, commercial negotiations, should-costing, supplier development, and localization.
• Experience in NPI and cross-functional collaboration with R&D/Engineering.
• Proven team leadership, stakeholder management, and supply risk mitigation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct procurement of electrical, electronic, semiconductor, PCB/PCBA, power electronics, and electromechanical components.

• Drive cost reduction, should-cost/clean-sheet costing, benchmarking, and value engineering (VA/VE).
• Develop local and global suppliers, improve supplier performance, and drive localization and import substitution.
• Manage alternate sourcing, dual sourcing, component obsolescence, and supply chain risks.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams on New Product Introduction (NPI) and component development.
• Lead and develop procurement teams, establish KPIs, and drive commercial excellence.
