Job summary

The Quarry Ltd. in Mumbai seeks a skilled procurement professional to define strategies, optimize inventory, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely, quality material acquisition for projects.

You will oversee end-to-end procurement execution, collaborate with QS, project and accounts teams, and ensure accurate cost calculations and timely invoicing to support production timelines.

Qualifications

• Define procurement strategies for timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven material acquisition
• Optimize inventory management by determining bulk vs. on-demand purchasing based on project needs
• Develop and oversee procurement execution plans covering purchasing, logistics, shipping, and inspections
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on project requirements, credit terms, and performance metrics
• Build long-term relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts and credit terms
• Continuously assess supplier performance to ensure reliability and quality
• Process purchase orders and manage the flow of goods to meet production timelines
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors, Project, and Accounts teams to align procurement with project priorities
• Ensure accurate cost calculations, invoice allocations, and order status tracking
• Monitor inventory levels and consumption patterns to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Approve bills, track requisitions, and maintain purchasing records and reports
• Analyze and review purchase comparisons for cost-effective decision-making.
