GoGreen Charging India Private Limited is an emerging and ambitious company in India's growing Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure sector.

We are focused on expanding EV charging station networks through strategic land acquisition, equipment procurement, infrastructure development, installation and project execution, including coordination with TNEB/TANGEDCO and other relevant authorities.

As we expand our operations, we are looking for an energetic, commercially skilled and strategic Procurement Manager who can take ownership of our procurement operations and help build a strong, reliable and cost-effective vendor network.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Procurement & Purchasing

Manage end-to-end procurement for EV charging infrastructure projects.
Source EV charging equipment, transformers, electrical panels, cables, industrial components and accessories.
Procure civil construction materials, steel, cement, structural materials and other project requirements.
Identify suitable suppliers and ensure timely availability of materials.
Prepare purchase orders and manage the complete purchasing cycle.

2. Vendor Development & Business Negotiation

Identify, evaluate and develop a strong network of vendors, manufacturers and suppliers.
Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Obtain and analyse quotations from multiple suppliers.
Build long-term vendor relationships and maintain supplier performance.
Explore new sourcing opportunities to improve procurement efficiency.

3. Cost Optimisation & Budget Management

Develop cost-effective procurement strategies.
Analyse market prices and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Prepare comparative statements and cost analysis reports.
Monitor procurement budgets and avoid unnecessary expenditure.
Ensure the right quality at the right price.

4. Project Procurement & Coordination

Coordinate with civil engineers, electrical engineers and project execution teams.
Understand project requirements and plan material procurement accordingly.
Ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials to project sites.
Coordinate with vendors, logistics partners and contractors.
Support project execution and resolve procurement-related challenges.

5. Inventory, Documentation & Reporting

Monitor inventory and material availability.
Maintain purchase orders, quotations, invoices and vendor records.
Track deliveries, material consumption and replenishment.
Prepare procurement MIS reports and regular management updates.
Maintain transparency and accountability in procurement activities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management preferred.
Experience in electrical, industrial, construction or infrastructure procurement.
Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
Knowledge of electrical equipment, industrial supplies and construction materials.
Experience in cost estimation, BOQ, quotation analysis and purchase order management.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets and procurement software.
Ability to take ownership, make decisions and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel for supplier visits and project requirements.

Additional Advantage: Candidates who can communicate in Tamil, English and Hindi will be preferred.
