Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:

Understanding the BOQ items clearly and efficiently planning for Procurement strategies
Coordinating with the project stake holders to get the clarity about project requirements.
Performing the market research for items not covered into the approved make lists.
Identifying the potential vendors for getting better techno commercial deals.
Striving integrally for knowledge and information upgrades about markets.
Keeping a Hawkeye on the product market developments.
Clearing the purchase related to documentations for issuance to the vendors, and inter departmental records.
Closing the Purchase and delivery loops on timely manner to avoid lapses.
Understanding site priorities accordingly planning the deliverables.
Finding cost effective deals and suppliers
Team building and coordination with the existing teams.
Coordination with sites and Project managers for smooth functioning of sites.
Monitoring supplier's performance.
Leveraging technology to help in procurement functions.
Daily meetings to track the status of the projects assigned to him/her and reporting to the management.

Desired Candidate:

BE Electricals or considerable no. of years experience to fulfill the demands of the position.
Should have proven track record in vendor development, vendor management activity.
Should have proficiency in procurement planning, budgeting and closing deals for Capital equipments, general items etc.
Ability to deliver under pressure
Should be good in managing and maintaining records.
Should be conversant & proficient with software handling.
