Job summary

Yooil Envirotech Pvt Ltd in India seeks an experienced Procurement Professional to lead end-to-end procurement for EPC and water infrastructure projects. You will manage RFQ to PO, source materials, and build a robust supplier base across mechanical, electrical, piping, civil, and MRO categories.

The role requires strong techno-commercial negotiation, ERP/SAP familiarity, and the ability to coordinate with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, and site teams to ensure timely delivery and cost

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 12–18 years of procurement experience in EPC, water infrastructure, construction or manufacturing.
• ERP/SAP procurement modules experience and strong negotiation skills.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement Professional to lead end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor development, and techno-commercial negotiations for large EPC, water infrastructure, industrial, and civil construction projects. The role involves procurement of mechanical equipment, piping systems, electrical and automation components, fabricated structures, civil construction materials, and MRO items.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete procurement lifecycle from RFQ to PO placement and delivery.
• Source and procure project materials, equipment, and construction items in line with project specifications and schedules.
• Develop and maintain a robust vendor base for mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, and MRO categories.
• Conduct techno-commercial evaluations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, and Site teams for material approvals and timely execution.
• Monitor procurement schedules to ensure uninterrupted project progress.
• Handle domestic and import procurement activities.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain procurement MIS and reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 1218 years of procurement experience in EPC, Water Infrastructure, Construction, Industrial Projects, Process Plants, or Manufacturing.
• Strong experience in procurement of mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, fabricated steel, and civil construction materials.
• Proven expertise in vendor development and techno-commercial negotiations.
• Experience in handling project procurement as well as MRO procurement.
• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP procurement modules.
• Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
