Job summary

Biofics Private Limited in Surat, India, is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage procurement activities for Bio-CBG plants, EPC projects and plant operations.

You will source and evaluate vendors, collect quotations, negotiate terms, prepare purchase orders and maintain documentation; ensure timely deliveries and coordinate with project, engineering, operations, stores and accounts teams using MS Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement for industrial projects or EPC environments.
• Excellent vendor negotiation and vendor development skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office for procurement tracking.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of plant, project, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and other materials.
• Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, price and delivery timelines.
• Collect and compare quotations and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement-related documentation.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, operations, stores and accounts teams.
• Develop new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Monitor pending orders and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Support cost-effective purchasing following company procurement procedures.
