Job summary

Kothari Industrial (KICL) in Coimbatore seeks an experienced Executive-Procurement to lead purchasing activities for raw materials and packing materials. With 14+ years in manufacturing procurement, you will manage orders, supplier relations and cost optimization.

The role requires SAP B1 proficiency, strong negotiation skills, and solid MS Office knowledge to maintain records, process requisitions, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing procurement (preferably footwear/consumer goods).
• Hands-on experience in procurement of raw materials and packing materials.
• Experience in full procurement lifecycle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Raise purchase orders and forward to suppliers.
• Maintain records of purchases, delivery information and invoices.
• Process requisitions and source best products by quality, price, and availability.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure best commercial terms.
• Manage procurement process including ordering, payment coordination, and goods receipt.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.


• Raise purchase orders and forward the same to relevant suppliers


• Maintain proper and updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices


• Process purchase requisitions upon approval and source the best possible products in terms of quality, price, and availability.


• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible commercial terms.


• Manage the complete procurement process, including ordering, payment coordination, and goods receipt.

Key job requirements
