Job summary

Mevive International in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, seeks a procurement professional with 0–2 years of experience to manage supplier sourcing, quotations and order tracking.

You will negotiate terms, compare prices, and ensure material quality while maintaining supplier records and coordinating across teams. Freshers are welcome and multilingual skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchase, sourcing or supply chain – freshers welcome.
• Fluent in English, Tamil and Hindi (Hindi an added advantage).
• Comfortable using MS Excel/Google Sheets to compare prices and track orders.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organised – comfortable managing multiple suppliers and orders at once.
• Willing to travel to supplier locations if required.

Responsibilities

• Identify suppliers who can provide raw materials with right quality, quantity and price.
• Collect and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to balance price and quality.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery timelines to protect margins.
• Raise purchase orders and track them through to delivery.
• Follow up with suppliers on pending orders, delays or shortages.
• Check incoming materials meet quality requirements and flag issues.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, prices and orders.
