Job summary

Stockarea in Chennai (T. Nagar) invites applications for an in-office Procurement Specialist. You will lead end-to-end procurement processes for warehouse operations, source and onboard vendors, and manage POs, quotations, and contracts.

Collaboration with warehouse, operations, inventory and finance teams is essential to fulfill procurement needs. The role requires MBA or relevant procurement experience, with strong negotiation and supplier management skills, and fluency in Hindi and English.

Qualifications

• MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Procurement.
• Bachelor's degree with relevant procurement experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for warehouse operations.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), quotations, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, inventory, and finance teams to fulfill procurement requirements.
• Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Analyze procurement spend and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports and support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Skills Required:

• 3. Experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or 3PL operations.
• 4. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP systems.
• 5. Good vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• 6. Language Skills: Hindi (Mandatory) and English.

Qualification:

• 1. MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Procurement.
• 2. Bachelor's degree with relevant procurement experience will also be considered.
