Job summary

Samvith Technologies is seeking a Procurement Engineer for our Bengaluru facility. The role focuses on coordinating with engineering to capture precise specifications and drawings for PRs, and ensuring timely procurement and PO release.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in procurement within mechanical engineering, strong vendor liaison skills, and solid knowledge of INCOTERMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Graduation in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of procurement or related experience.
• Knowledge of vendor development and PR processes.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate with engineering to obtain specs and drawings on time for PRs.
• Process PRs and initiate PO actions without delay.
• Interact with vendors for clarifications on technical and commercial aspects and ensure orders meet specs.
• Coordinate with QC for timely inspections to avoid delays.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

• Diploma /Graduation in Mechanical Engineering with 3 Years of experience or Diploma In Mechanical Engineering with 5 Years of Experience

Responsible for

Procurement of Items / Material as per specification of PR, Vendor Development

Mission:

To comply company standard Procurement procedures, Meet the Project Schedules and achieve company set Goals.

Accountabilities:

• Interacting with Projects, User Departments and Engineering Team to understand the technical requirement for the Products/items to be procured.
• Check and send the enquiries to the approved Vendors for the Items to be procured as per PR
• Obtain quotations, analyze and prepare bid tabulations after proper negotiations and obtain approvals as per purchase Procedures.
• Issuing PO to the approved / Competitive Vendors
• Ensure the Project schedules are met with timely procurement and on time delivery
• Ensure no rejections so has to minimize the wastages & also the time is essence of the delivery commitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate with engineering team to get the required specification and drawings on time for the PRs received, in order to ensure the delivery time.
• Ensure the PRs attended to initiate action for further issue of PO without any delay
• Interacting with Vendors for any clarification on technical and commercial & to ensure the execution of the orders on track and ensure the supplied items are as per specification/drawings without any deviation
• Purchase orders are placed on time and ensure the vendors completes the orders on time without any delays & also ensure they comply all terms & conditions without any deviation.
• Interacting QC team to carry out the inspection on time and ensure there are no delays.
