Job summary

Siemens Energy in India seeks a Process Innovation Expert to lead Lean transformations, advanced data analytics, and digital solutions across manufacturing and business processes. You will build dashboards, analyze data from SAP and MES, and drive AI-enabled productivity improvements with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes governance, KPI reviews, and sustaining continuous improvement, pairing lean principles with Power Platform and automation to accelerate the digital transformation

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline.
• 4-8 years experience in Lean, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Digital Transformation or Analytics functions.
• Experience in manufacturing, heavy engineering, industrial products or process industries preferred.
• Experience in dashboard development and business analytics projects.
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, Microsoft Copilot, Process Mining or Advanced Analytics would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean transformation initiatives across manufacturing and business processes using VSM, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Standard Work and Problem Solving methodologies.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to identify waste and improve flow, quality, productivity and delivery performance.
• Drive process optimization projects with measurable productivity, cost, quality and safety benefits.
• Establish and sustain Lean governance, KPI reviews and continuous improvement culture across the factory.
• Coach teams and leaders on Lean principles and operational excellence practices.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards and digital management systems.
• Collect, cleanse, analyze and interpret operational data from SAP, MES and other enterprise systems.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Develop automated reporting solutions to eliminate manual data collection and reporting efforts.
• Quantify business impact of improvement projects and monitor sustainability of gains.
• Identify and implement digital transformation opportunities across shop-floor and business processes.
• Support AI use cases such as visual inspection, document intelligence, predictive analytics, process automation and engineering productivity improvements.
• Develop low-code/no-code solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Drive adoption of Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools within business functions.
• Work with IT, Digital, Engineering and Operations teams to define business requirements for digital solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend applications that improve productivity, quality and customer value

What You Bring
