Job summary

Siemens Energy in Maharashtra, India, is seeking an Automation specialist for the Charlotte Generator Order Management team. You will analyze workflows, design automated processes, and manage automation projects from conception to post-launch, collaborating with design, production, and dispatch teams.

You will use SAP, Power BI, and Tableau to build solutions, develop business cases, and train the Order Management team.

Qualifications

• Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; SAP proficiency.
• 4+ years SAP experience.
• Proficient in Power BI and Tableau data visualization.
• 4 years of related work experience; strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Independent yet team oriented; strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

You will play an essential role in the automation and visualization of critical deliverables of the Charlotte Generator Order Management team inclusive.

How You’ll Make An Impact.

• Process Analysis and Automation Strategy Analyze existing order management workflows and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and key opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders within the Generator design, production, and dispatch workstreams to gather business requirements and define the scope for automation projects.
• Develop and present business cases for proposed automation initiatives, quantifying potential efficiency improvements.
• Design and document optimized, future-state automated processes and workflows. Automation Solution Development and Management Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using appropriate tools and scripting languages.
• Manage the full lifecycle of automation projects independently, from conception through to implementation and post-launch support.
• Troubleshoot and maintain deployed automation solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
• Provide training and overview of automation solutions to Order Management team.

What You Bring.

• Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient with computers, especially the use of SAP, with 4+ years of SAP experience.
• Proficient with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• 4 years of successful experience in a related field. Multitasking: Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities. Communication Skills: Good communication skills with local and international colleagues.
• Work Style: Independent, but team-oriented work style. Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done on time, with high quality and minimal direct supervision.
• Skills: Expert written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills are a must.
