Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited is seeking an experienced Stores Manager to oversee material receipt, issuing, and inventory control on the shop floor. You will coordinate supply with production planning, manage daily SAP/WMS transactions, and maintain 5S and safety standards in the stores operations.

The role requires 8-10 years of stores management experience, strong knowledge of SAP/MS Office/WMS, and the ability to lead a team of contract staff. Based at our site in India.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ experience in Stores Management.
• Good working knowledge of SAP/MS Office/WMS.
• Experience with production planning and material feeding.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and issuing material to shop floor in kits as per production plan.
• Update daily material transactions in SAP/WMS.
• Coordinate production and production planning teams for material feeding.
• Take physical inventory per predefined cycle.
• Maintain stores/warehouse locations and ensure orderly operations.
• Ensure inventory availability to meet production targets.
• Handle line rejections and communicate with stakeholders.
• Lead a team of 7-8 contract employees.
• Maintain 5S and safety standards in store operations.
• Implement best practices within the function.

How You'll Make an Impact

• You’ll be responsible for receipt and issuing material to shop floor in kits as per production plan.
• You’ll Update daily material transactions in SAP/WMS software.
• You’ll be responsible for coordinating production & production planning team for effective material feeding.
• You’ll be responsible for taking Physical Inventory as per predefined cycle.
• You’ll be responsible for maintaining stores/warehouse locations in place.
• You’ll be responsible for effective inventory control, for ensuring availability of materials to meet the production targets.
• You’ll be responsible for handling rejection from line and communicating with another stakeholder.
• You’ll be responsible for handling a team of 7- 8 contract employees.
• You’ll be responsible for maintaining Orderliness, Cleanliness, 5S, Safety Standards while doing Store operations.
• You’ll be responsible for implementing the best working practices within your function.
• You've 8- 10 years’ experience in Stores Management with handling material on daily basis
• You must have good working knowledge of SAP/MS Office/ Warehouse Management software etc.

Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA).
