Job summary

Pasona in India is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead production teams, optimize processes, and ensure quality across shifts. You will monitor machines, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and other departments to meet daily targets.

The role emphasizes safety, training of new staff, and adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, with a focus on continuous improvement and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling injection molding environments and teams.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
• Basic problem-solving techniques for process issues.
• Knowledge of MTBF/MTTR and maintenance documentation is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate across departments and train new staff.

Responsibilities

• Handle injection molding teams and production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and troubleshoot injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct daily production reviews and fix weekly targets for shift engineers.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Train and mentor new employees and ensure adherence to safe working practices.
• Manage raw material and finished goods inventory.
• Coordinate across all shifts to ensure smooth handovers, communication, and production continuity.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports on time.
• Conduct problem analysis using basic problem-solving techniques and prepare reports for review meetings.
• Maintain basic knowledge of maintenance parameters such as MTBF and MTTR.
• Maintain and understand basic maintenance-related documents.
• Ensure awareness and compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
• Understand injection molding machine sub-accessories such as MTC, Chiller, Robot, and Dryer.
• Possess basic knowledge of plastics used in the automobile industry.
• Troubleshoot molding-related issues caused by raw material variations.
• Support continuous improvement and smooth production operations.
