Job summary

PMech Consultant Pvt. Ltd invites an experienced Process Engineer with 5+ years in detailed design for Oil & Gas projects at Navi Mumbai. The role involves preparing P&ID, PFD, utility diagrams, and heat/mass balances, with expertise in international design codes and vendor document reviews.

The candidate will participate in HAZOPs and design reviews, size equipment and piping, and liaise with clients to resolve technical issues. A strong background in process engineering software is required.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering; 5+ years of detailed design and engineering experience.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, refineries, fertilizers, storage and tank farm.
• Knowledge of API, NFPA, BS, Shell DEP design codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Process Basis Design, P&ID, PFD and utility diagrams.
• Perform Heat and Material Balance calculations.
• Conduct HYSYS simulations for process design.
• Prepare calculations sheets and process data sheets for equipment.
• Size equipment and piping, prepare operating manuals.
• Review vendor documents and participate in HAZOP/design reviews.
• Liaise with clients to resolve technical issues.

Position - Process Engineer | Immediate Joinee Preferred

Experience - 5+ years of experience in detailed design and engineering

Industry - Oil & Gas

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Process Basis Design, P&ID, PFD and utility diagram
• Heat and Material Balance.
• HYSIS Simulation.
• Preparation of Calculations Sheets, Process Data sheets for all equipment.
• Sizing of equipment / piping etc.
• Preparation of Operating Manual
• Review of process related Vendor documentations.
• Participate in HAZOP / Design Review meeting etc.
• Review client drawings and documents.
• Liaise with client to resolve any project technical issues
• Knowledge of international code and practices like API / BS related to process engineering is essential.

Technical Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Process Engineering and type of Equipment in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Fertilizers , Storage and Tank farm
• Good knowledge of process controls and safeguarding
• Ability to apply different International Design Code requirement like API , NFPA , BS , Shell DEP.
• Ability to perform all type of process design calculation
• Skill to produce error free calculation and documents
• Hand on experience with Process engineering software's
