Job summary

Reliance Industries Limited is seeking a Team Member/Sr Team Member – Cell Process Engineering in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The role requires 4+ years of experience in recipe-based manufacturing, process control, and data analysis, with preference for solar cell process control and manufacturing expertise.

You will work with Operations and Equipment Engineering teams to ensure process stability, product quality, and reliability while driving RCA, DOE, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech + 4 years experience, M.Tech 2 years experience, or Ph.D. of relevant experience.
• Experience in solar cell manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, chemical, thin-film/CVD, or recipe-controlled manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with MES, SPC, FDC, and Spotfire.
• Knowledge of process control, characterization, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, Minitab, and JMP.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive, disciplined, improvement-oriented, and effective team player.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control solar cell manufacturing processes using MES, data analytics, and physical process monitoring.
• Apply knowledge of chemical, thermal, vacuum, and other manufacturing processes for process optimization.
• Drive RCA, DOE, process trials, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead technical teams in process sustenance and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, and process documentation.
• Support change management and ensure process stability during implementation.
• Troubleshoot process/equipment issues and ensure optimum equipment utilization.
• Maintain a strong quality mindset and resolve process-related quality issues.
• Collaborate with Process, Production, Equipment, Quality, and Technology teams.
• Support continuous improvement and other departmental initiatives.

3. Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Team Member/Senior Team Member – Cell Process Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience in recipe-based manufacturing, process control, factory data analysis, in-process characterization, or solar cell/module development. Experience in solar cell process control and manufacturing is preferred. The role involves working closely with Operations and Equipment Engineering teams to ensure process stability, product quality, and reliability.

4. Key Responsibilities
