Johnson Electric Group in Chennai, India is seeking a Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize high-speed motor assembly lines. You will bridge product design and production, collaborating with R&D, Quality, Production and Maintenance to deliver robust processes.

Competenze

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical or Mechatronics required.
• Experience in assembly processes with automatic/high-speed machines preferred.
• Exposure to motor/alternator/stator/rotor assembly lines advantageous.

Mansioni

• Design New Processes, feasibility studies, prototype/pilot runs, and documentation including PFMEA and SOPs.
• Drive process optimization, waste reduction, quality improvement, and lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Lead New Product Introduction and project management, progress reporting and monitoring.

Job Purpose

To design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for high-speed motor assembly lines. The Process Engineer acts as a bridge between product design and production execution, working cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to develop robust processes, reduce variability, eliminate waste, and meet both customer specifications and company targets.

• Process Documentation ( Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans , Process Parameter Sheets , Layout Drawings

Key Requirements
