Job summary

Deutsche Bahn’s DB Engineering & Consulting is seeking a Senior Engineer - Rail Structures in Bengaluru to lead design and analysis of complex railway structures.

You will review calculations, drawings, BIM models, and provide guidance to graduate and junior engineers, while coordinating with lead engineers to ensure quality.

The role requires Civil Engineering degree with postgrad in Structural Engineering and 7+ years experience, and fluency in design codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering; postgraduate qualification in Structural Engineering with 7+ years preferred.
• Proven capability in independent structural analysis, design and technical checking of railway structures (bridges).
• Experience in RCC structural design, working knowledge of steel and prestressed concrete (PSC) structures.
• Strong expertise in design codes, standards, and project quality procedures across all design stages.
• Ability to guide junior engineers and ensure consistency and quality of design outputs.
• Capability to assist Lead Engineers in design coordination and technical decision-making.

For our project in Bangalore, we are looking for a Senior Engineer - Rail Structures.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to technically guide junior engineers and ensure consistency and quality of design outputs.
• Capability to assist Lead Engineers in design coordination and technical decision-making.
• Working knowledge and experience in designing structures with InfoCAD and Sofistik.
