Job summary

Deutsche Bahn’s India project in Bangalore seeks a Senior Engineer - Rail Structures to lead structural analysis, design, and optimization of railway structures. You will review calculations, BIM models, and technical reports while mentoring graduate and junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering; Postgraduate qualification in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Proven capability in independent structural analysis, design, and technical checking of railway structures (bridges).
• Experience in RCC design with knowledge of steel and PSC structures.
• Strong expertise in design codes, standards and project quality procedures across all design stages.
• Ability to guide junior engineers and assist Lead Engineers in coordination and decision-making.
• Experience with BIM models, drawings, and technical documentation review.

For our project in Bangalore, we are looking for a Senior Engineer - Rail Structures.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle structural analysis, design, and optimization of complex railway structures.
• Review and validate design calculations, drawings, BIM models, and technical reports.

• Ability to technically guide junior engineers and ensure consistency and quality of design outputs.
• Capability to assist Lead Engineers in design coordination and technical decision-making.
• Working knowledge and experience in designing structures with InfoCAD and Sofistik.
