Job summary

Deutsche Bahn’s Engineering & Consulting arm is seeking engineers to design railway track alignments, produce drawings, and prepare takeoffs for Indian and international projects. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to meet client requirements and adhere to design guidelines and codes.

Candidates should hold BE/B.Tech, have hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley Rail tools, and be comfortable with regression-based alignment modelling.

Qualifications

• BE /B-Tech (Post Graduation will be value ad)
• Experience on Indian and/or international railway projects
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley Power Rail Track or OpenRail Designer suite (or similar)
• Experience in alignment model creation by regression will be a value add

Responsibilities

• Design of track and/or alignment for railway projects
• Prepare drawings from alignment models per project standards
• Prepare take-off quantities
• Collaborate with team to meet client requirements
• Follow design guidelines and relevant codes
• Consult with Engineers/Senior Engineers to achieve outputs
• Respect deadlines and discuss potential delays with lead engineer
• Extract design reports and prepare reports as required
• Handle other tasks assigned by team lead

Responsibilities

• Partake in design of track and/or alignment of different Railway Projects
• Preparation of Drawings from Alignment Model as per project standard.
• Preparing take off quantities.
• Working cooperatively with team members in order to meet client requirements.
• Being familiar with the Design guidelines and National/International codes.
• Work in consultation with Engineers/Senior Engineers to achieve the desired output.
• Making sure the deadlines are respected and if not to discuss in advance with the Senior/Lead Engineer.
• Extracting design reports from software and preparation of reports in accordance with Engi-neer/Senior Engineer.
• Any other task assigned by the team lead or his/her assignee.
