Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise cloud infrastructure, technology operations, and platform engineering across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical services.

• Establish governance, ITIL processes, and operational excellence frameworks.

• Lead enterprise cloud infrastructure, technology operations, and platform engineering functions across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and performance of business-critical technology services.
• Drive cloud transformation, infrastructure modernisation, and automation initiatives across the organisation.
• Establish and maintain governance, compliance, ITIL processes, and operational excellence frameworks.
• Manage large technical teams, providing leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction.
• Own vendor relationships, partner governance, contract management, and service reviews.
• Drive FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimisation, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, security controls, and risk management programmes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, observability, and AIOps capabilities to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders to define strategy, roadmaps, and investment priorities.

The Successful Applicant

• 14-18+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, enterprise technology operations, or platform engineering leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in Azure, AWS, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Proven experience leading large-scale cloud transformation and infrastructure modernisation programmes.
• Strong understanding of FinOps, cloud governance, cost optimisation, and budget management.
• Experience managing 24x7 technology operations, service delivery, and operational excellence.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), DevOps, and observability tools.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and team management experience, including leading large technical teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Exposure to AI infrastructure, AIOps, or emerging AI technologies is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; ITIL and cloud certifications preferred.
