We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, automation, and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in Azure cloud infrastructure, cloud-native architecture, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with architects, DevOps engineers, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to build highly available, secure, and scalable cloud environments. You will play a key role in cloud migration, infrastructure automation, disaster recovery planning, cost optimization, and governance while driving cloud transformation strategies across enterprise applications.
This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale Azure cloud deployments, modern DevOps practices, Kubernetes-based workloads, and automation frameworks that support business-critical applications.
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop enterprise cloud architectures aligned with business, security, and compliance requirements.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, and App Services.
- Design resilient cloud solutions with high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities.
- Automate cloud provisioning and infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Automate deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure lifecycle processes.
- Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Optimize deployment workflows and improve release automation across environments.
- Implement Azure security best practices, identity management, and Zero Trust security principles.
- Configure Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Key Vault.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and risk mitigation activities.
- Manage cloud governance, resource policies, and cost management strategies.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Analyze infrastructure performance and optimize cloud resources for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
- Support capacity planning and performance tuning initiatives.
- Drive continuous operational improvements through automation and monitoring.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams on cloud initiatives.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical planning, and solution design discussions.
- Mentor junior cloud engineers and promote cloud engineering best practices.
- Maintain cloud architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and technical standards.
