Job summary

Insight, a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator, is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to design and deploy well-architected cloud solutions across AWS and Azure. You will lead IaC automation, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with client teams in Agile environments to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.

The role emphasises customer-facing delivery, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and robust monitoring as part of a dynamic consulting practice.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS or Azure), with basic exposure to the other.
• Experience with core cloud infrastructure services including: Azure VM, VNet, Storage, Monitor, AD, Load Balancers, DNS, App Gateway; AWS EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, ELB, Auto Scaling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, PowerShell, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems such as Azure DevOps, GitHub

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure resources across AWS and Azure, including VMs, storage, networking, and databases.
• Support the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to automate deployments.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Configure monitoring and observability with Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Support cloud migration initiatives using Azure Migrate; assist with DR/BCDR implementations.
• Perform troubleshooting and cost optimization across cloud environments.
• Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, network security, and encryption.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.

About the role

As a Cloud Engineer III, you will be part of the consulting and delivery practice, utilizing cutting-edge automation tools and provisioning in public cloud providers—preferably Azure or AWS. You will be responsible for designing and deploying well-architected cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and a proven track record of delivering cloud solutions with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation on various projects. Along the way, you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to automate application and infrastructure deployments.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Configure monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
