Job summary

Bharat Logistics Solutions in Delhi is seeking a Freight Forwarding Coordinator to manage daily rate sourcing from shipping lines and airlines, analyze cost headings, and negotiate payment terms. The role includes quoting rates to sales teams, verifying invoices, and coordinating with finance to ensure timely dues release.

You will monitor freight cost changes and analyze pricing patterns quarterly. The ideal candidate has experience in freight forwarding and a keen eye for cost optimization

Responsibilities

• Contacting shipping lines and airlines for rates on a daily basis
• Understanding cost headings in detail
• Negotiation of rates and payment terms with shipping lines and airlines
• Quoting rates to concerned sales on multiple lines
• Resolving rates related issues with lines in a timely manner
• Checking invoices raised by shipping lines and authenticating them
• Coordinating with sales and finance to ensure timely release of dues to lines
• Maintaining inventory levels reports at all major locations
• Updating the team on changes evolving in freight costings
• Analyzing pricing patterns of lines for every sector quarterly and sharing learnings

• Checking the invoices raised by the shipping lines and authenticating the same.
• Coordinating with the sales and finance teams to ensure the release of the shipping line dues in time
• Maintaining the inventory levels report at all the major locations
• Updating the self and the team on the new changes evolving in the costings related to the freights & other charges
• Analysing the pricing patterns of the lines for every sector once in a quarter and sharing the learnings to the management
