We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially focused Export Pricing Executive to manage export freight pricing and prepare competitive quotations. Responsible for obtaining freight rates, negotiating with shipping lines and vendors, preparing accurate quotations, and supporting business growth through timely and competitive pricing.
Key Responsibilities Export Pricing:
- Prepare competitive export freight quotations for Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL) and Air Freight shipments.
- Obtain freight rates and local charges from shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Negotiate freight rates and commercial terms to maximize profitability.
- Ensure timely submission of quotations to Sales and Business Development teams.
- Maintain and update freight tariffs, carrier contracts, and pricing databases.
- Manage spot quotations, contract rates, and customer-specific pricing requests.
Coordination:
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, transporters, and internal departments for rate procurement.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Documentation, and Customer Service teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Provide pricing support for tenders, RFQs, and key customer accounts.
- Resolve pricing-related queries from customers and internal stakeholders.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor freight market trends, carrier rate changes, surcharges, and competitor pricing.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and profitability improvement.
- Stay updated on international shipping regulations, trade routes, and market developments.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate pricing records and quotation history.
- Update pricing information in ERP/CRM systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly pricing reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Export Pricing within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry.
- Experience in Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL) and Air Freight pricing preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of export freight pricing and international logistics.
- Understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and export procedures.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and ERP/Freight Forwarding software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict quotation timelines.
